I’m Nathan Rooks, a licensed General Contractor in Georgia (RBI003523) and the owner of Rooks Bros. Construction, a residential building company serving North Georgia for two decades. Remodels, additions, and new construction — I’ve spent my career on the build side, working directly with subs, inspectors, and lenders across this region.
Rooks Building Consulting grew out of that experience, not apart from it. It’s a separate side of the business, built for one purpose: working only for the owner, with no stake in the build itself.
Twenty years on job sites teaches you where things actually go wrong — not in the big visible mistakes, but in the small ones that get covered up by the next phase before anyone notices. A flashing detail done out of order. A draw paid for work that wasn’t quite finished. An owner four hours away, trusting updates secondhand, with no way to know what they don’t know.
I started Rooks Building Consulting because I kept seeing owners who needed someone in their corner — not a project manager working for the builder, not an inspector working for a bank, just someone with real building experience whose only job is protecting them.

I live in White County, in the same mountains where I do this work — which means the relationships are real.
